Belgrade, February 21, 2025 – At the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, on the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia stand, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Tourist Organization of Stara Pazova Municipality and the Academy of Hospitality, Tourism, and Wellness. This agreement establishes a strategic partnership for the implementation of professional internships for students, allowing them to apply acquired theoretical knowledge in a real business environment and develop essential skills necessary for work in the tourism sector.
Prof. Dr. Danijel Pavlović, Director of the Academy of Hospitality, Tourism, and Wellness, and Draga Zorić Stanojković, Director of the Tourist Organization of Stara Pazova Municipality, signed the agreement.
The primary goal of this collaboration is to enhance the educational process through practical training, enabling students to gain a better understanding of the tourism industry, as well as experience in destination promotion, event organization, and working with tourists.
Representatives of both institutions expressed their satisfaction with the signing of the agreement, emphasizing that it will contribute to higher-quality education for future tourism professionals and strengthen the connection between the academic community and the business sector.
