Dr. Danijel Pavlović, Associate Professor

Dr. Danijel Pavlović has more than fifteen years of academic experience working with students, in teaching, and scientific research. He was elected to the position of associate university professor in 2021. He obtained his PhD in the field of tourism management on the topic "Measuring competitiveness as a basis for improving the position of a tourist destination." His main research areas include tourism management, competitiveness of tourist destinations, and the operations of travel agencies and tour operators.

He is a member of SeMA - Serbian Marketing Association. He is a member of Coordination Commissions and the Sectoral Council at ministries and the Agency for Qualifications of the Republic of Serbia. He is a member of the editorial board and reviewer of several domestic and international scientific journals in the field of tourism and beyond. He is the author of a number of papers at International Conferences as well as several papers in domestic and international journals of the M20 category.

He is a member of the editorial and organizing committees of several international journals and conferences in the field of tourism and beyond. He has participated as a consultant in several tourism development programs and in teams for the preparation of strategic documents related to the development of tourism in Serbia and beyond, professional projects, and as a member of the project team in scientific projects. He is the General Secretary of the Serbian section of the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism (IIPT) – IMIT Serbia (IIPT Chapter Serbia). He participates as a keynote speaker at several conferences and panels of international character in Serbia and abroad. He is the co-author of the book "Operations of Travel Agencies and Tour Operators".
