Diana Dukanac
Diana Dukanac is a graduate and master's degree holder in English philology with many years of professional experience in the field of education, project management and digital content development. She completed her undergraduate and master's studies in English language and literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, with an average grade of 9.3.
Since June 2024, she has been engaged in the position of administrative coordinator at Anglia Ruskin University (Faculty of Business and Law) in Cambridge, where she participates in the development Diana Dukanac is a graduate and master's degree holder in English philology with many years of professional experience in the field of education, project management and digital content development. Since June 2024, she has been engaged in the position of administrative coordinator at Anglia Ruskin University (Faculty of Business and Law) in Cambridge, where she participates in the development of educational materials and training resources, mentoring students in professional practice, as well as providing administrative and organizational support to the work of the Athena SWAN group.
She is also a co-founder of the citizens' association "Knjiženstvne", within which she deals with the creation and visual design of content and project management. The project she is most proud of is the Baby Cinema, which she organized in cooperation with the Yugoslav Film Archive.
She is the recipient of the Bertelsmann/Udacity GenAI Nanodegree scholarship (2024), where she is professionally trained in the field of generative artificial intelligence and its application in education and creative industries.
In November 2024, she participated as a presenter at the 1st "Artificial Intelligence in Language Education" BarCamp, where she gave a presentation on the topic of generating text into images. The event was organized as part of the AI Lang project of the European Center for Modern Languages.
From 2017 to 2020, she worked as an English teacher, teacher trainer and educational material designer in educational companies in China (Hangzhou and Beijing) and Singapore.
As a translator, she participated in the implementation of international cultural projects. Among other things, she worked on the catalog/monograph for the "8th Kilometer" exhibition, as part of the Republic of Serbia's participation at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, held in 2021. She gained experience as a simultaneous interpreter within projects for the Czech Cultural Center.
