    Karijeru u visokom obrazovanju započeo je 2011. godine, a stalno je zaposlen na Akademiji za hotelijerstvo, turizam i velnes u Beogradu. Biran je u zvanje redovnog profesora za menadžment i u TT polju i u DH polju, kao i za ekonomiju. Prethodno je radio u Srbiji na Visokoj školi akademskih studija Dositej u Beogradu i Fakultetu za menadžment FAM Univerziteta Union Nikola Tesla u Sremskim Karlovcima, a bio je angažovan i na doktorskim studijama Fakulteta za ekonomiju i finansije Univerziteta Union Nikola Tesla u Beogradu. Predavao je i u inostranstvu na Arab Open University u Kuvajtu kao Assistant Professor u periodu 2017-2019. godine i na King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Affiliated Colleges in Hafr-Al-Batin u Saudijskoj Arabiji kao Lecturer u periodu 2014-2106. godine. Diplomirao je na Ekonomskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Beogradu sa prosekom 9,18. Sa titulom MBA studenta godine završio je MBA studije u Velikoj Britaniji na Lancaster univerzitetu, kao Chevening stipendista britanske vlade. Doktorirao je na Fakultetu za poslovne studije Megatrend univerziteta. Ekspert je za liderstvo i strategijski menadžment i marketing. Bio je predsednik Izvršnog odbora Skupštine opštine Pančevo i generalni direktor HIP-Petrohemije, Pančevo, a tokom karijere nalazio se i na drugim liderskim pozicijama u državnom, društvenom i privatnom sektoru, kako u domaćim, tako i u inostranim preduzećima. Objavio je sam ili sa saradnicima preko 90 naučnih i stručnih radova u međunarodnim i domaćim časopisima i na međunarodnim i domaćim kongresima, konferencijama i simpozijumima. Publikovao je 23 rada kategorije M20, od kojih se 13 nalazi na Naši u WoS-u. Na Scopus-u je indeksirano 14 njegovih radova. Na 80% radova je prvi ili jedini autor. Ostvario je preko 320 citata i h-indeks od 10. Shodno kategorizaciji resornog ministarstva, njegov naučni doprinos se vrednuje sa preko 370 bodova. Aktivno recenzira za 10 međunarodnih WoS žurnala. Osim maternjeg, govori i engleski jezik, a služi se i nemačkim.

     

    Kao akademik i stručnjak sa raznovrsnim međunarodnim obrazovanjem i profesionalnim iskustvom, profesor Adžić je visoko kvalifikovan u oblastima liderstva, menadžmenta i marketinga. Njegova sposobnost da efikasno predaje ove discipline dodatno je osnažena ličnim liderskim iskustvom, budući da je obavljao izvršne funkcije kao predsednik i generalni direktor u javnom i privatnom sektoru. Mnogi akademici nemaju uvid u stvarna očekivanja poslovnih lidera, ali kao naučnik i iskusni praktičar koji je upravljao hiljadama zaposlenih, on poseduje upravo tu specifičnu perspektivu. Malo je teorija koje analiziraju liderstvo iz pozicije generalnog direktora, a profesor Adžić ga upravo izučava na taj način. Drugo ključno područje njegovog istraživanja je strategijski menadžment. On kritički ocenjuje menadžment teorije koje mogu delovati akademski utemeljeno, ali u praksi nemaju primenu. Jedan od primera je koncept učeće organizacije, koji je analizirao kao prolazni menadžment trend. Tokom pandemije COVID-19, istraživao je njen uticaj na nacionalne ekonomije i poslovne operacije, dodatno doprinoseći savremenim poslovnim istraživanjima. Nakon što je stekao zvanje redovnog profesora, proširio je istraživački fokus na nove oblasti. Aktivno izučava poslovni i marketinški pejzaž nacionalnog srpskog alkoholnog pića – rakije. Njegovo istraživanje u ovoj oblasti pozicioniralo ga je kao vodećeg stručnjaka za marketing srpske rakije. Njegovo trenutno istraživačko interesovanje je i primena modeliranja strukturnih jednačina u marketingu, kako CB-SEM tako i PLS-SEM. Iskustvo sa doktorskih studija, u kombinaciji sa bogatim opusom metodološki raznovrsnih radova, čine profesora Adžića izuzetno kompetentnim na području istraživačke metodologije.
