    Born on October 25, 1984, in Užice.

    Dr. Danijel Pavlović has over fifteen years of academic experience working with students in teaching and scientific research. He was appointed as an associate professor in 2021. He earned his Ph.D. in tourism management with a dissertation on "Measuring Competitiveness as a Basis for Improving the Position of a Tourist Destination." His main research areas include tourism management, tourism destination competitiveness, and the business operations of travel agencies and tour operators.

    He is a member of SeMA - the Serbian Marketing Association and serves on Coordinating Commissions and Sectoral Councils within ministries and the Qualification Agency of the Republic of Serbia. Additionally, he is a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer for several domestic and international scientific journals in the field of tourism and beyond. He has authored numerous papers presented at international conferences and published research articles in domestic and international journals classified under category M20.

    Dr. Pavlović is also a member of editorial and organizational committees of multiple international journals and conferences related to tourism and broader scientific fields. He has worked as a consultant on several tourism development programs, strategic planning teams for tourism development in Serbia and beyond, expert projects, and as a project team member in scientific research projects.

    He is the Secretary-General of the Serbian Chapter of the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism (IIPT) – IMIT Serbia. He frequently participates as a keynote speaker at numerous international conferences and panel discussions in Serbia and abroad.

    He is a co-author of the book “Business Operations of Travel Agencies and Tour Operators.”
